The HBC training: We did HBC at Kanh Chom under the topic is Hooves care and looking for a new farrier and vet the attendees has 24 people, they feel so interested with this topic because in their community has 1 farrier but not well train, so they want us to train him to be ready for their ponies. the 6th Village Vet Workshop from 20th to 24th November 2017 to improve the 2 theory topics: 1 is Hoof problem and 2 is Diarrhea. We had 14 attendees came from difference places, 2 people came from the new places that we found, and 12 people are our old village vets. This time we had a very great opportunity to test our village vets by the examination at the last day of the workshop. All of them were past the exam and got some presents from CPWO team especially from Mr. Sok Daro. The most wonderful thing is we had created our village vets team call Community Veterinary Equine Protection or CVEP. 1 farrier trained Mr. Sat Savy during the 6th Village Vet Workshop practice at Ksom.

Visited 08 new communities by deworming 79 ponies, 1 community did Triquine vaccine 1 pony, 1 community did Tetanus vaccine and follow up JE vaccination 8 ponies and 2 communities did Tetanus vaccine 6 ponies.

The HBC training: We did HBC at Kvet Thom the new community has 08 pony owners, most of the ponies there have problem with hoof condition that’s why we would like to find the new farrier in there as well, the topic of HBC was pony welfare they felt interested so much with our work and our team and they requested us to come and do the deworming for their ponies regularly. HBC at Chreav has 04 pony owners, this time we did HBC with our village vet Sokuntheary and discussed about pony welfare by our village vet, all of the owners were very happy to hear that we have our village vet in charge for their community. This month we had made a training course for 5 of our village vets at their communities during our rotation.
