Summary
- Prevention: Visited 9 communities by doing deworming with 173 ponies and gave 1 tetanus to one pony.
- Educations and Workshop: Trained Local Service Provider: 3 Farriers from Vihear Sour, Thmey, Kcha Beung Veng and 2 Village Vets from Vihear Sour and Roka Chan Leong. We did 2 Human Behavior Change exercises about common problems mostly seen when the owners raising their ponies, there are 13 pony owners from Thmey and 30 pony owners from Roka Chan Leong who joined with us.
3. Veterinary, Farriery, Saddlery Service:
Went to 12 communities by doing:
– Veterinary: 24 cases: 1 eye worm, 1 laminitis, 2 lameness, 6 wounds, 1 tooth problem, 1 wound, 9 skin problems, and 1 blood test. Consulted by phone: 2 cases: 1 wound and 1 foal heat stress.
– Farriery: 1 trimming and 2 shoeing.
– Saddler: None
